Our Unit Coordinators play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the unit by serving as a key liaison between patients, visitors, and clinical staff. This role partners closely with nursing teams to coordinate daily patient flow, including clear and timely communication related to admissions, discharges, and transfers, while delivering outstanding service in every interaction. The Unit Coordinator supports efficient patient care by coordinating admissions, assisting providers, and ensuring timely access to supplies and essential information. The role requires responding promptly to patient needs, welcoming and assisting visitors, and navigating clinical systems to maintain seamless operations. Additionally, the Unit Coordinator is responsible for managing equipment and patient valuables with accuracy and accountability, contributing to a safe and well‑organized care environment.
