Thompson First Group is seeking a Senior Operations Engineer for a direct hire role with a local client in Selbyville, DE. Candidates that have experience managing and direct plant Project Engineers are encouraged to apply. Major Duties & Responsibilities: - Assist the plant Project Engineers in the coordination and management of projects from beginning to end and present turnkey final projects. - Train, coach and assist plant Project Engineers in the development and completion of projects. Provide mentorship, guidance and hands-on support to cultivate their professional growth and development. - Advise and direct plant Project Engineers on safety requirements and proper enforcement. - Assist the Sr. Director Processing Operations in the planning of annual capital budgets and communicate project status.
