Infrastructure Engineer III - Capacity and Scalability

Job description

As an Infrastructure Engineer III in Consumer and Community Banking at JPMorganChase, you utilize strong knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline. You apply your technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies across multiple applications. In this role you will partner with infrastructure platform teams, application development and SRE teams to manage and govern standard processes for planning and monitoring capacity, and planning scalability. Job responsibilities: Execute the daily activities supporting the standard Capacity process for the critical applications in the line of business. Partner with Application and Infrastructure teams to identify potential capacity risks and govern remediation statuses of those risks. Assist partners with recommendations on Capacity plans, where needed. Develop and analyze data to create plans for scaling resources efficiently. Apply technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope, with a focus on improving the data/systems running at scale; and ensures end to end monitoring of applications.
