Job description

Responsible for delivering and setting up food and beverage service in guest rooms. Assist in completing side work duties. Review orders for proper presentation and completeness prior to delivery. Must be 21 years of age or older - Ensure that all food items requested and necessary supplies are obtained and delivered in a timely manner. - Coordinate the delivery schedules of amenities, and food and beverage orders to best accommodate the guests. - Provide directions and support to bus persons. - Assist in cleaning the guest corridors when returning to room service. - Facilitate the immediate accommodation of guest requests. - Follow all applicable safety precautions applicable to food service areas. - Treat guests with courtesy and respect. - Ensure that all items are presented in accordance with department guidelines. - Clock guests check out and in. - Serve beverages to guests upon delivery. - Perform side work to include, but not limited to filling sugar bowls, salt/pepper shakers, folding napkins and general organization of storage areas. - Complete service preparation functions as required. - Obtain food and beverage orders from any of the hotel outlets as requested by the gue...
