Summer Camp Counselor Location: Charleston Corps – Charleston, South Carolina Position Type: Seasonal Pay Rate: $11.25/hour ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY: Plans, implements, supervises members and evaluates activities provided within a specific program area, supporting the Red Shield Center priority outcome areas of Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, Good Character and Citizenship. May oversee special programs and/or events (i.e. Keystone, Youth of the Year and Awards Programs), and/or participate and/or participate in the implementation of other unit activities as necessary. In absence of the Program Coordinator, may provide supervision to other Youth Development Professionals to ensure continuity of program services at unit/branch locations. Builds and maintains a professional relationship with all Club members and their families, in order to help advance the mission of The Salvation Army.
