Production Assistant - Corey St Facility - Day Shift

Job description

This role is part of a 24/7 manufacturing environment with variable shifts as scheduled. Pay Range: $18 per hour - **Currently offering a $1,500.00 Sign On Bonus** Core Responsibilities: Contribute to accident-free operations and comply with all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements and regulations. Assist the extrusion operator in producing quality products based on product specifications. Monitor and perform quality checks to ensure product color, surface, size, and other attributes meet standards before packaging. Properly place pallets and perform packaging techniques for finished materials as directed. Move materials to designated areas as needed. Assist extrusion operators with machine cleaning functions (saws, tanks, etc.) when necessary. Communicate daily issues and pertinent information to production assistants, assistant operators, operators, and team leaders. Follow all plant safety procedures to ensure personal safety and the safety of others. Understand and follow all company policies, practices, and procedures.
