In-House Legal Coverage Position for Fixed Income Sales & Trading/Public Finance and Sales and Trading Coverage Attorney Morgan Stanley is seeking an in-house attorney to support senior legal coverage to the public finance, structured solutions and sales and trading activities within its Fixed Income Division's Municipals group (Munis). Coverage would include advice regarding new securities or loan issuances, structured solutions and related secondary sales and trading activities for Munis. Responsibilities will include: > Advising Public Finance teams on new issue municipal, tax-exempt and corporate debt transactions, working closely with outside counsel and other internal legal and compliance professionals, including the application of various requirements of the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB). > Advising the Municipal Capital Markets, Client Finance and Capital Solutions teams on securities finance transactions (generally tender option bond transactions), direct purchases of municipal securities from the issuer thereof, structured finance and securitization transactions > Providing advice to sales and trading professionals regarding secondary market trading issues,...
