Field Service Technician Entry - Level I

Job description

Assists with maintenance and repair activities on gas compression and/or process equipment at customer's location, as directed. Essential Duties: Non-Essential Duties: Performs other duties as assigned. All employees shall be in compliance with the Archrock Health Safety and Environmental Policy and local, statutory and/or regulatory requirements at all times. - Maintains a safe and well-organized work environment. - Works with others to perform Call Outs (CO), Preventative Maintenance (PM), Major Maintenance (MM), Overhauls and MOB/DEMOB. - Performs Call Outs (CO) with assistance from a technical expert. Learns to diagnose and repair mechanical problems on multiple compressor configurations. - Completes and submits required documentation in an accurate and timely fashion. Skills and Abilities: Knowledge: - perform all essential duties - develop proficiency in order to perform quality, efficient work with less assistance - begin to demonstrate customer service skills - read, write and speak English (work orders, manuals, etc.) - follow all health, safety and environmental procedures - use basic computer skills, including Internet Explorer and Outlook - respond to afterhours request...
