Description Position Overview: The University of Virginia’s Center for Public Safety and Justice (CPSJ) seeks a full-time faculty member to serve as Director of the National Criminal Justice Command College (NCJCC). Based in Charlottesville, Virginia, this individual will provide strategic and academic leadership for the Command College, teaching and overseeing the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of the program. The Director ensures that the program meets University of Virginia academic standards while leading the successful execution of a nationally recognized executive education experience for senior public safety leaders. The National Criminal Justice Command College convenes experienced leaders from law enforcement and public safety agencies across the United States to engage in intensive executive education focused on leadership, strategy, and organizational performance. The Director works closely with CPSJ leadership, practitioner faculty, and University partners to deliver a cohesive, high impact learning experience and to support the program’s continued growth and national reach.
