Summary The Department of Anesthesiology: Hospital Based Services is seeking qualified Certified Anesthesia Assistant candidates to provide services at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center. Under the direction of an attending anesthesiologist, an anesthesiologist assistant will assist in perioperative patient management, including the performance of the preoperative anesthetic evaluation, intraoperative anesthesia, and postoperative anesthesia care. These responsibilities may be carried out in the operating room, cardiac catheterization lab, intensive care unit, radiology suites, endoscopy suites, or other places in hospital designated by the attending anesthesiologist.
