General Summary Ensures the organization's compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), regulatory requirements, and healthcare industry-specific accounting standards. This role involves complex accounting analyses, prepares technical accounting memoranda, supports financial reporting, and advises leadership on the accounting implications of significant transactions. Partners closely with Operational Finance, Revenue Cycle, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, and external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting across the health system. This position requires deep technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex accounting matters clearly to leadership.
