Department of Mathematics & Data Science Temporary Faculty Pool The Department: The Department of Mathematics & Data Science at Cal Poly Humboldt is a lively, student-centered, and supportive program distinguished by excellence in teaching, innovative curriculum development, and meaningful faculty-student engagement. We are committed to fostering future scholars and professionals while emphasizing strong analytical foundations and applied problem-solving across mathematics, statistics, and data science. We offer two undergraduate degree programs: a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Data Science. The department also offers a Minor in Mathematics, a Minor in Applied Statistics, and three certificates in Data Science. At Cal Poly Humboldt, our curriculum is rigorous yet flexible, with a focus on hands-on and applied learning.
