Health, Safety and Environmental Project Specialist

Job description

Job Summary: Coordinates projects, analyzes data and supports implementation of health, safety and environmental programs in collaboration with cross functional teams. Communicates with key business stakeholders to ensure successful project completion. Key Responsibilities: Builds relationships across functions. Demonstrates a commitment to driving a positive health, safety and environmental culture. Consults with employees and collects feedback to contribute to the development and implementation of programs, policies and procedures that will have a direct impact on an employee work environment. Supports hazard identification, environmental aspect identification and risk assessment programs, collecting and analyzing data to identify potential projects, prioritizing using a risk-based data-driven approach. Works with project stakeholders to establish project goals, project plans, timelines and milestones. Tracks performance against project goals and timelines. Develops and maintains project related metrics, communicating project status to respective stakeholders.
