Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: POSITION PURPOSE Assists Clinical Engineering Manager in planning, developing, and implementing the medical equipment management program utilizing an equipment life cycle approach. Coordinates planned and corrective maintenance of diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment used throughout the hospital. Ensures continuous improvement in quality, operational cost effectiveness, customer satisfaction and resource utilization. Supports and fosters team building within the local and corporate clinical engineering team. As needed, provides Planned Maintenance (PM) safety testing, repairs, calibration, installation, routine and emergency service, to general and various specialized diagnostic, therapeutic, and support medical equipment, such as anesthesia machines, sterilizers, ventilators, ultrasound, laser, laboratory, etc., as assigned by the Clinical Engineering (CE) Manager.
