Job Summary NiSource – Columbia Gas & Nipsco - is hiring a Mailing Equipment (Inserter) Operator / Tech to support our high-volume Printing & Mail Operations team. This role is an excellent opportunity for an equipment-minded individual with mechanical aptitude who wants to build a long-term career in a stable, essential industry with growth opportunities. In this position, you will learn to operate, monitor, and troubleshoot high-speed Kern inserting equipment used to produce customer bills, regulatory notices, letters, and safety communications for six NiSource operating companies. Prior mailing or inserter experience is not required — NiSource provides structured, hands-on training and ongoing mentoring to help you succeed. Success in this role means working collaboratively as part of a production team to meet same-day mailing service level agreements for 100,000+ mail pieces per day, while maintaining high standards for accuracy, quality, and safety.
