Senior Engineer (Mechanical, Systems, Controls) Position Overview: As a Senior Engineer at BlueShift, you will be instrumental in building and designing the mechanical and control systems for our electrochemical technology and processes. Your expertise will drive the development of cost-effective, scalable solutions that advance BlueShift's mission to accelerate economic resilience by unlocking underutilized resources. Responsibilities: - Leading the design, building, testing and integration of system components such as mineral reaction chambers to create a high integrity and commercially viable unit - Conducting computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling to test system designs as an integral part of the prototyping process - Designing, building, and programming an automated flow control system; - Collaborating closely with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors - Spearheading the diagnosis and resolution of problems related to scaling up and integrating the electrochemical system with existing infrastructure - Techno-economical tradeoff analyses and commercial scaling strategy - Clear communication and collaboration with team members to achieve critical mile...
