Production Supervisor

Job description

Your Contribution As a Production Supervisor reporting to the Plant Manager - Tilbury, you will be responsible for scheduling and supervising all hourly production employees on their assigned shift. The incumbent also directs and manages certain indirect staff on the shift including Skilled Trades, Quality and Logistics departments. The Production Supervisor must be able to work on a 3 shift – 2-week rotation. This role is responsible for: - Orientating, training, mentoring and providing leadership to employees - Reviewing and ensuring work assigned to employees is completed timely and in compliance with the MAHLE standard. - Directing and managing indirect staff in the skilled trades, quality, stockroom, shipping and receiving areas. - Communicating with employees to ensure that issues on shifts are communicated and acted upon as required. - Analyzing and managing performance key metrics (production, scrap, downtime, rework, utilization, etc.) - Accurate and timely processing and approval of daily time and attendance records via Dayforce in alignment with Company policy and our Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). - Participation, implementation and compliance with MAHLE Product...
