Job Description: Fall Internship: We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Adult Day Program Intern to join our team!. This internship offers hands-on experience supporting adults in a community-based Adult Day setting, with a focus on engagement, dignity, and person-centered care. The intern will work alongside program staff to support daily activities, promote socialization, and assist with program operations, gaining valuable exposure to human services, healthcare coordination, and community programming Essential Responsibilities: Students will observe daily programming by adult day staff, within the hours of 9 am – 3pm. Student will observe/participate in at least one development/update and implementation of participant’s person-centered care plan. Students will assist with procedures and daily activities as directed by the Adult Day Program Director or assigned Adult Day Program designee. Students will assist with documentation as directed. Students will attend staff meetings, case conferences, education sessions, and family meetings, as scheduled or indicated by supervisor.
