Job description

The Highlights: Under general supervision, assist with the installation and support of data and communications infrastructure, including LAN/WAN/Voice systems. Rely on established guidelines and instructions to perform daily job functions. What You'll Do: - Configure, deploy, upgrade and maintain network and telecommunication equipment according to DePaul specifications. Monitor network equipment status and respond to issues. - Complete all tasks associated with phone moves/adds/changes including programming dialing privileges, phone configurations, handset installation, and premise wiring. Work with internal customers to plan and execute department-level moves. Respond to trouble tickets while adhering to service level agreements. - Assist with the planning, installation and maintenance of structured cabling infrastructure. Work with trades and contractors as necessary to install, troubleshoot, and repair structured cabling. - Assist with installation, troubleshooting, and configuring WLAN (wifi) devices. - Performs other duties as assigned.
