Automation QA Engineer

Job description

We are looking for Automation QA Engineers: to join a long-term programme modernising core insurance systems. The role focuses on increasing automation coverage for desktop applications, supporting system upgrades, and improving testing efficiency through UI automation, API testing, and structured SQL-based validation in a mature enterprise environment. Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for desktop applications - Create and execute UI, integration, and API test scenarios - Develop test components, reusable scripts, and maintain existing frameworks - Analyse test outcomes, troubleshoot defects, and support resolution - Prepare, manage, and validate test data using SQL: - Collaborate with analysts, architects, and developers in ongoing delivery - Participate in regression, release validation, and quality reporting - Work with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Git, Jenkins Requirements: 3 years experience in test automation desktop applications (Windows Forms or similar) - Minimum - Experience testing - Solid working knowledge of API testing: (REST or SOAP) - Strong SQL capability for validation and data checks - Experience with Git, CI pipelines, and s...
