Job description

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Production Operator is responsible for monitoring the performance of the autocatcher and clearing all jams in a timely manner to ensure process and production efficiency. Additionally, the Production Operator is responsible for performing quality checks including dimensions and appearance to ensure it meets product specification and communicating problems to appropriate individuals. The Production Operator is a key contributor to the continuous improvements of critical plant performance metrics in the areas of safety, productivity, cost, quality and sustainability. This role is essential to the successful operations of the Savannah Roofing site. The Production Operator is an hourly position reporting to Operations Front Line Leader. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lives the Owens Corning Safety Stand and meets all safety requirements. Utilizes all LTT principles as required.
