Operator SUMMARY: Mortenson is currently seeking an Operator III that will be responsible for operating equipment as directed and specified while adhering to all rules and regulations as mandated by Mortenson safety policies and procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Follows prescribed safety regulations - Ensure that all housekeeping is maintained in a clear and orderly fashion in assigned area - Performs routine maintenance to include lubricating, fueling and cleaning - Observes equipment operation to detect machine malfunction - Follows work plans and pre-task cards - Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed - Operates the following equipment based on the requirements of the project: - Mini Excavator - Backhoe - Trackhoe - Loader - Forklift/Telehandler - Bobcat/Skid-steer QUALIFICATIONS: *Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling over 50 lbs will be done with assistance of another team member or equipment. - Equipment certifications as required - Minimum one (1) year of related experience - Current driver’s license of proper classification and necessary endorsements as required by law - Strong teamwork o...
