Job Description Summary: Job Description: MATH 250X: MATH FOR MOTION: Course description: This course explores linear systems and vectors, coordinates and spatial reasoning, and trigonometry for motion, interpolation, and time-based systems. Calculus experience not required. Course goals subject to adjustment by instructor: Students will learn fundamental vector math, basic linear algebra, and trigonometry. Students will also be introduced to coordinate systems and spatial reasoning; matrix math for transforms and hierarchy; relative versus absolute transforms; rotation order and issues like gimbal lock; and related mathematics to assist in visualizing and solving problems in real-time applications.
