Job Summary: Performs tests, confirms accuracy of results and reports laboratory findings to the Pathologists and other Clinicians. Job Description: Essential Responsibilities: Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science / Medical Technology or Biological Science required. Preferred Education: None. Required Work Experience: Experience not required but preferred. License/Registration/Certification: ASCP certified generalist or categorical Technologist or equivalent accreditation or letter of Technologist eligibility from ASCP required. Non-certified applicants must successfully acquire certification within 12 months of hire or promotion. Other: Experience with computers required, including web based applications and Microsoft applications. Competencies: Decision Making: Ability to make decisions that are guided by general instructions and practices requiring some interpretation.
