Primary Location: University Hospital - UMC Address: 530 South Jackson Street Louisville, KY 40202 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Job Description Summary: The Oncology RN Clinician is a licensed professional who provides evidence-based care to adult and geriatric patients during all phases of their oncology treatment. The Oncology RN Clinician works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide patient centered care utilizing an in-depth knowledge of oncology disease states, treatment and critical thinking skills. Responsibilities are to provide and coordinate patient care including but not limited to; direct Medical Oncology clinics to provide for physician patient consultation, ensure labs and appropriate tests are completed and reviewed in a timely manner, provide education and support for patients and families and to interact with triage to provide an extension of the clinical support.
