Description SY 2026-2027 Behavioral Specialist: Memphis, TN: Job Type: Full-time Description: Gestalt Community Schools is a system of K-­-12 college-­-preparatory charter schools in targeted Tennessee communities. GCS schools provide strong academic outcomes for their scholars through initiatives including meaningful community involvement. GCS catalyzes community leadership to help revitalize the neighborhood as it operates its schools in that community. Instead of debating whether education impacts the community or vice versa, GCS believes that the most effective method to support student achievement is an integration of education and community (a true "gestalt"). Under the direct supervision of the Dean of Scholars, a Gestalt Community Schools Behavioral Specialist has the following responsibilities: - Support the implementation of the RTI²-B framework and facilitate school-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) across all tiers (Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3). - Collaborate with school leadership, counselors, and the Family Engagement Specialist to ensure a consistent, school-wide approach to behavior. - Analyze behavior data (attendance, office discipline referral...
