POSITION SUMMARY: Perform all sub-assembly and component assembly operations required to completely assemble seating and seating components. JOB RESPONSIBLITIES: - Understand and utilize pick sheets, trim/finishing drawings, work orders, and verbal instructions to assemble all components. - Setup and use all types of fixtures, jigs, and testing equipment. - Make all final checks and adjustments required for proper functional operation of details, components, and completed seat assembly. - Move materials to and from work position. - Keep accurate records and make reports in accordance with work performance requirements. - Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Education: Experience: - High School/ GED - Mechanical / electrical experience a plus - Structures experience a plus - Generally, 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility. - Basic Skills to perform basic tasks within the Technical Area assigned to in area of responsibility with assembly, mechanical, electrical or aircraft structures as well as able to use all tech data and aircraft drawings to locate part numbers and accomplish repairs.
