HVAC Lead Installer Full-time Technician: Kingston NY: Salary Range: $25.00 To $35.00/hr Job Title: Lead Installer: Overview: The Lead Installer is a hands-on field leadership role responsible for personally performing HVAC installations while leading the crew and ensuring each project is completed on time, to the highest quality standards, and in full compliance with manufacturer specifications and code requirements. This role carries direct accountability for job execution in the field—install quality, productivity, safety, and customer satisfaction. The Lead Installer works alongside installers and apprentices daily, setting the pace, solving problems in real time, and ensuring jobs are completed right the first time. Key Responsibilities: Installation & Job Execution: - Perform HVAC installations personally, with a focus on ductless mini-split and air-source heat pump systems. - Execute all critical installation tasks including equipment setting, line set routing, flaring, vacuuming, pressure testing, electrical connections, and system startup. - Ensure installations are completed efficiently without sacrificing workmanship or safety.
