Park Nicollet is looking to hire an Electrodiagnostic Tech to join our Neurology team! Position Summary: Regularly performs one or more of the following neurological tests on adult patients (as ordered by a physician). All technologists are expected to be able to competently and independently complete: - Inpatient and outpatient routine EEGs - Ambulatory EEGs - Continuous video EEG monitoring Inpatient and outpatient EMGs: Some technologists may also be expected to competently and independently: If trained to do EMG testing, the technologist in this class is responsible for obtaining standard, as well as advanced nerve conduction recordings in the laboratory setting under the direction of an electrodiagnostic medicine consultant. The technologist is responsible for checking and maintaining the instruments they use and keep them in excellent working condition.
