Summary: The Tax Senior Manager will work closely with the Director of Tax to lead the Company’s sales & use, GST, property, and other transactional tax functions. This role oversees compliance, audits, and planning initiatives, drives process improvements, and ensures accurate and timely reporting across all indirect business taxes. The Tax Senior Manager will supervise staff, review filings, and support strategic tax initiatives, including system enhancements and transactional tax implications. Experience with Vertex and/or Avalara is required. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Lead all sales & use, GST, property, and other transactional tax compliance , including timely filings, payments, and account reconciliations. - Manage and develop staff , providing training, workflow direction, and performance evaluations. - Oversee sales & use tax automation , including configuration, maintenance, and issue resolution in indirect tax engine platforms. - Lead resale exemption certificate collection, validation, and documentation policies , including implementing controls and ensuring proper storage and renewals. - Manage state and local transactional tax audits , including data reque...
