RK&K is seeking talented Roadway and Bridge Inspectors to work in and around Memphis, Tennessee. Our Construction, Engineering, and Inspection Division manages and supports mid-large CEI design, design-build, and inspection projects across the USA. Inspectors should have 2+ years of experience working on DOT and/or other Local agency construction programs. Essential Functions: The ideal candidate for this position will work independently with Tennessee Department of Transportation and contractors while being responsible for: - Work on various roadway and bridge projects within the region’s geographic area - Oversight of contractor’s quality control operations - Quality Assurance sampling and testing - Completion of Daily Sampling and Testing Reports - Data input in SiteManager/LIMS - Daily communication with client, contractor, and field project personnel Required Skills and Experience: - 2 years of prior experience providing QA services - Candidates must be trustworthy and responsible - Must have a solid background in mathematics - Understand how to read and follow test specifications - Excellent driving record Preferred Skills and Experience: - TDOT Asphalt Plant Technician - TDO...
