Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated Database Engineer specialized in PostgreSQL, to join our team and take ownership of data related activities. Data is a strategic asset for the bank, and we are undergoing a transformation to migrate the database infrastructure to new Cloud solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Execute scoping and implementation tasks for database migration to Cloud - Perform scoping and implementation activities for data obsolescence management projects - Define database architecture and deliver database environments for new applications - Handle project-related support requests concerning PostgreSQL databases - Perform database design optimization (modelling advice, index strategy, performance tuning) - Conduct database audits on demand (architecture review, performance analysis, configuration review) - Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure stability, availability, and performance of database services - Contribute to the evolution of the database infrastructure and participate in process automation initiatives Mandatory: - Minimum 3 years of experience as a PostgreSQL DBA and complementary some expertise in Oracle (or another DBMS) - Strong knowledge of...
