Overview CVP seeks a Registered Nurse to join our team in providing nursing services for our Nation's Veterans at the VA Saginaw Healthcare System. This is an exciting opportunity to serve those who have served us while working in the Intensive Care Unit. We have full-time, part-time and PRN contract opportunities available. Responsibilities: - Maintain patient/resident confidentiality and a safe patient/resident care environment, including compliance with requirements such as medication administration, patient/resident/family education, discharge process, restraint usage, and hazardous waste disposal Provide patient/resident-centered care by: - Assessing the healthcare needs of patients/residents and maintaining or developing plans of care to meet interdisciplinary goals - Identifying and acting on significant changes in the patient's/resident's health condition - Carrying out the plan of care by performing/assigning delegated tasks - Documenting pertinent data in the electronic patient/resident medical record using designated templates - Completing nursing assessments within required timeframes and according to policy - Meeting the emotional and spiritual needs of patients/reside...
