Job Title: Clinical Resource RN Department: Surgical Services Location: Newark Wayne Hospital Schedule: Day/Evening/Night SUMMARY: As a Clinical Resource Registered Nurse (RN), you plan, organize, coordinate, evaluate and provide guidance in implementing each patient’s plan of care. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Development. Develop the plan of care in conjunction with patient, family and others, utilizing community resources and systems; collaborate with health team members to ensure a comprehensive plan of care; use health promotion and health teaching methods appropriate to the patient’s developmental level, learning needs, readiness, ability to learn, language preference and culture - Evaluation. Consider associated risks, benefits, costs, current scientific evidence and clinical expertise when formulating expected outcomes; modify expected outcomes with changes in the status of the patient or the situation; synthesize available data, information and knowledge to identify patterns and variances - Leadership.
