Lead Security Officer

Position Summary: The Lead Security Officer is the primary point of contact for all on-duty Security Guards working to provide a security presence in and around the warehouse facility. Additionally, this role is the primary contact for any contract security providers engaged by the company. Primary Accountabilities: Duties performed as Lead Security Officer: - Conduct daily stand up meetings with the Security team. - Create and post weekly schedules for the team. - Assign areas for officers to patrol and present a list of potential problems or suspect employees officers should be on the lookout for. - Complete weekly/monthly safety checks – fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, etc.; ensure all security systems, intrusion points and burglar alarms and CCTV are working properly. - Complete regular security inspections and audits on camera logs, random security check logs, daily activity reports and safety equipment inspections. - Send out daily reporting via email. - Assist Supervisor with interviewing candidates for Security Officer. - Train all new security team members on all security protocols. - Work with staff to develop and enhance safety plans; lead periodic safety drills f...
