Job Title: Steel Construction Project Manager Location: Richmond, VA Job Type: Direct Hire Schedule: Day Shift Compensation: Up to $85,000 annually, based on experience Travel: 10 to 15% local travel with mileage reimbursement Role Summary: We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee structural steel fabrication and installation projects from kickoff through completion. This role is responsible for keeping projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality and safety expectations. Primary Responsibilities: - Analyze construction documents, including structural and shop drawings, to establish project scope and requirements - Coordinate activities between fabrication teams, detailers, field personnel, and contractors to ensure smooth execution - Build and manage project timelines, making adjustments to maintain deadlines - Track material orders and deliveries to support project schedules - Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost tracking, and forecasting - Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and internal safety standards - Visit job sites as needed to assess progress, lead discussions, and resolve installation or sequencing issues - Handl...
