Appliance Technician II

Job description

The Appliance Technician II is responsible for the overall maintenance of the kitchens appliances. Under minimal supervision, performs refrigeration, electrical, electronic and mechanical maintenance work independently on kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, freezers, disposals, pumps, motors, steam kettles, ovens, and compressors. Also involves installation of equipment and performs related work as required. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES;: 1. Service, repair, replace and maintain walk-in and reach-in freezers, refrigerators, ice makers, and milk coolers replacing components including motors, Freon, belts, thermometers, and adjust controls to accommodate specific types of Freon used in any particular appliance. 2. Repair, descale, maintain, and replace dishwashers and electric or gas water and booster heaters. 3. Maintain pumps. 4. Replace valves, belts, filters, bearings, gears, and motor parts. 5.
