What we do at Blykalla Blykalla is developing the next generation of nuclear technology with our Small Modular Reactor (SMR) based on innovative fuel, materials, and reactor designs. What you’ll get to do: We are seeking a dynamic Materials Engineer with powder expertise to join our Materials team. This role is pivotal in advancing our materials knowhow, focusing on the development, qualification, and industrialization of powder materials and additive manufacturing crucial for our SMR technology. Key Responsibilities: Materials Expertise and Advancement: Drive the transition of new powder materials from concept to industry, navigating challenges from lab to application. Harness deep knowledge in alloying concepts, powder steel production processes, and additive material processes such as 3d printing and HIP, to guide material qualification and industrialization.
