Description Department: Student Life: Job Status: Full-time (40 hrs./wk.); 10-month position FLSA Status: Non-Exempt: Reports To: Director of Counseling Services Amount of Travel Required: Minimal travel required Work Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm Mon. - Fri. POSITION SUMMARY: Provide counseling services to students and groups of students within the Benedictine College Counseling Center. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: This is not intended to be an all-inclusive list. Additional duties, expectations and responsibilities may be added or changed as needed to meet the College’s needs. - Administer counseling services in accord with Catholic moral principles, Benedictine College principles and policies, licensing and professional standards and ethics, and governmental regulations including HIPAA, FERPA, and Title IX. - Identify and manage risks associated with counseling services for students. - Provide mental health counseling, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, referral, and consultations for students, including in crisis/emergency situations. - Coordinate and/or collaborate with others on offering regular programs of student and staff education and training on wellness topics including mental health,...
