Job description

- Position Summary - One temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant position available in McNair TIRO Grant. - Start Date - Position available on or after April 1, 2026 and ending on or before May 31, 2026. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance. - Job Description/Duties - Duties include but are not limited to: - Assist McNair Scholars with identifying campus resources. - Create and facilitate peer-to-peer enrichment workshops and meetings. - Create flyers and use available technologies and social media to promote events and enrichment workshops. - Assist with program outreach and promotion at McNair sponsored events and information sessions. - Assist with travel arrangements including use of Concur Software. - Assist with the development, promotion, execution, and conclusion of McNair sponsored events. - Provide prospective participants, staff, and faculty with program information. - Assist students with McNair Scholars Program Application. - Assist with McNair Scholars orientation. - Manage front desk (emails, filing, scheduling, copying and scanning documents, greeting visitors, troubleshooting computer and printer issues, etc.)....
