Job description

Overview The NY Foundling’s Identity & Acceptance Program offers free therapeutic services through free individual, group and family therapy as well as psychiatric services if desired for LGBTQIA+ youth ages 0-21. These services are all offered with no copay, regardless of insurance or immigration status to ensure we can be accessible to all. Remote services are available but are offered dependent on the needs of each client. Our two main sites are based in Brooklyn (111 Livingston Street, Brooklyn NY 11201) and East Harlem (109 E. 115th Street, New York 10029). In addition to our mental health services, we offer free gender-affirming clothing, wellness supplies, and a multitude of events and workshops throughout the year for clients and the surrounding community to best meet their identified needs. We are currently seeking a 2nd-year MSW intern for Fall 2024/Spring 2025.
