Description Balance Health is a leading podiatry practice in Orange County dedicated to helping people of all ages and lifestyles get back to enjoying the activities they love. Balance Health is looking for a Podiatrist to join our team. Under the direction of the CMO, the Podiatrist provides routine and referral podiatric services to patients. - Examine patients’ legs and feet to diagnose diseases - Treat bone, muscle, and joint disorders affecting the feet and ankles - Perform Wound Care management - Diagnose diseases and deformities of the foot and ankle using medical histories, physical examinations, x-rays, and laboratory test results - Prescribes medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, or surgery - Advise patients about treatments and foot and ankle care techniques necessary for prevention of future problems - Provide education/consultation to patients, family, and health care team - Provide health promotion and preventive medicine - Maintain appropriate medical records on assigned patients Requirements: - Ability to observe, assess and record symptoms, reactions, and progress - Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care - Knowledge o...
