Regions Hospital Laboratory is currently seeking a self-motivated, quality-focused Technical Bench Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join our team. At Regions Hospital, you will work as a member of a technical team in the Clinical Laboratory. Our team has also been engaged in developing our new laboratory information system designed to provide efficiency and patient safety. Your work will support Regions Hospital as well as six other suburban hospitals and over twenty clinics in our network. As part of our team, you will: This position is in our Regions Hospital microbiology lab. Our lab supports microbiology testing for the HealthPartners System. This position would be set-up and processing specimens for cultures and molecular testing, reading cultures, using Maldi, BD Kiestra Automation Line, BD Phoenix, and manual susceptibility testing. The lead tech will serve as a resource for other staff, and perform duties as assigned by the Technical Specialist or Laboratory Leadership in maintaining hospital and laboratory compliance with regulations.
