Job description

Overview The Food Bank Coordinator position is designed to recruit, coordinate and encourage volunteers that come to The Salvation Army of Beaver Falls. This position also ensures that the Food Bank Distribution and related services operate correctly and that volunteers are in place to conduct the various aspects of the services each day. This position will complete maintenance and custodial duties on a regular basis to ensure a professional and neat appearance whether completed by volunteers or by Property Manager Responsibilities: 1.Schedule volunteers for the food bank2.Maintain accurate volunteer files for follow-up and coordination3.Host an annual volunteer appreciation event4.Recruit new volunteers for the food bank and building maintenance5.Attend County, and Regional Meetings as The Salvation Army’s Beaver Falls Corps representative for the food bank program6.Plan menu of the Food Bank each Month7.Plan, Review with the Corps Officers and Order food from the Food Bank.8.Schedule the Food Bank Deliveries9.Represent the Salvation Army of Beaver Falls at local volunteer fairs10.Maintain accurate files of volunteer hours provided each month11.Work with and Coordinate Volunteers...
