About the Unit: The Medical Surgical Orthopedic unit at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s has 30 beds. The Registered Nurse could expect to see a variety of patients recovering from hip and knee replacements, hip fractures, shoulder repairs, back surgeries, and craniotomies as well as general medical/surgical telemetry patients. Med/Surg Ortho is known for being team oriented and having a high success rate for new graduates. RN orientation is individualized to meet the needs of the new hire and their level of nursing experience.
