Job Description The Opportunity: The College of Arts & Sciences (COAS) at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University–Worldwide Campus (ERAU-W) seeks an Assistant Professor of the Practice (Ph.D. required) in Human Factors. This is a fully remote online position with no relocation required; faculty travel at least once per year is required to attend mandatory college meetings and events. Candidates will hold a Ph.D. in Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Ergonomics, Biomechanics, Human Computer Interaction, Applied Psychology, Industrial Psychology, or related disciplines, and possess a demonstrated competency in human factors-related studies and practices. Candidates with demonstrated academic, industry, and/or government experience related to fields in human factors with demonstrated activities in human cognitive, psychological, and/or physical performance; human-system interface design; human machine teaming; and related skills will be given preference.
