Description SUMMARY: The Summer Group Camp Speaker “sets the table” for the various discussions that will take place in each church’s individual group. At the beginning of each day, the speaker introduces the theme and begins to ask the questions that will become central conversations to the day’s activities. In the evening, the speaker recaps the theme, tying it in with the content of the Bible study and with the evening experience. The speaker is tasked with building a bridge between all the day’s experiences and the important conversations that will take place within each group around the fire at night’s end. The speaker succeeds when the Gospel is preached, and the door is opened for ministries to flourish during their time at camp (and beyond). The person in this position shall, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior towards colleagues, guests, supervisors, volunteers, and guests. Regular attendance is essential for this position. All team members are expected to maintain an environment of professionalism, safety, and fun.
