Security Officer

Job description

Security Officers are responsible for carrying out all assignments, programs and special instructions involving fire and security personnel to insure full and adequate protection of Company property and personnel. Officers must use good judgment when conducting investigations and preparing reports relating to security issues. Pay Rate: $20.07 per hour: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Control access to the inner perimeter of S&W property. - Control entrance and exit of all personnel and visitors. - Monitor CCTV and alarm systems and respond to alarm notifications. - Alert appropriate personnel in the event of emergencies. - Prepare written security reports documenting important occurrences during the shift. - Attend regular training to maintain MA LTC and firearms proficiency. - Cooperate with local police, fire and civil defense agencies. - Make recommendations for continuous improvement to S&W Security Program. - Regular attendance (as defined in our policies) is required.
