Technician, Teleport Operations PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS: - You will perform routine on-site installation, preventative maintenance, routine repair of electronic and electromechanical equipment and products. You will ensure system performance of communications equipment delivers the highest standard of service to our customers and perform level 1 maintenance restoral actions and well as provide technical support at an intermediate level in 24x7 shift environment. COMPETENCIES: You will monitor the conditions of commercial services and terrestrial facilities, including the status of system alarms, station plant and facility subsystems while working with state-of-the-art monitoring systems and test equipment. You investigate and report any equipment deficiencies related to reliability, or efficiency for service operations. You escalate open issues to senior technicians or more senior operations staff.
