JOB SUMMARY: The Security Team Leader oversees uniformed Security Officers operating in critical facilities with strict access controls and elevated security protocols. The Security Team Leader directs a highly trained security unit responsible for safeguarding personnel and securing the Bulk Electric System (BES) across the Southeast and assets of the company. This role supervises daily operations, including personnel scheduling, coordination, and performance oversight. The Security Team Leader ensures regulatory compliance, leads preliminary incident investigations, and oversees accurate documentation, video bookmarking, and reporting. JOB REQUIREMENTS: (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills) Ability to obtain and maintain compliance with OPCO specific licensing requirements and to use and maintain OPCO specific firearms and pass annual firearms qualifications. - Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in security (law enforcement, military, corporate security, etc.) is strongly preferred. - Demonstrates strong, adaptive leadership skills and a proactive leadership mindset.
